Exausted, I slowly got up. I had slept through my alarm. I felt a sharp pain go through my stomach followed by the feeling of wanting to vomit. I put on my slippers and dressing gown. Then I walked to my mums office. Once I was there I told her how I felt sick and asked if I could have the day off. She said “yes” and told me she felt off too. My mum asked if I was hungry. Obviously I said “no” because I felt sick and was scared I was going to vomit. After that I unplugged my IPad and set up some pillows. I ended up feeling better in the afternoon but watched netflix most of the day. Then I ate some toast luckily I didn’t throw up.

Setting Description

Peacefully I sit down beneath the towering tree. It’s long slender branches reaching over me.The bright green grass surrounds me coated in autumn leaves. I can feel the mud squish under my feet and the crunch of leaves as I walk across the grass. I can hear the birds chirping and the faint sound of cars in the distance. I can hear kids running and thumping in the gym.

My Character Description

Hello there! My name is Tiga and I am a cat! Things I enjoy doing are sleeping, eating trying to break into the pantry and also trying to catch Brownie the rat! I have thick white fur and a big poofy tail. I have big bright yellow eyes and very pointy ears. I live with a family of seven and this one rat called Brownie. Brownie is always in the pantry. I can’t really blame him, I mean it's massive! He’s always either trying to steal my food or the family's food. I have tried to catch Brownie multiple times but he always finds a small gap to squeeze through. However there was the one time a few years ago in round in 2015 I had the chance to claw Brownie's eye. Now he can only see through one eye. Anyway! Let's tell you a bit about the family. So first, We have a mother whose name is Chanel. She’s a manager of a hotel  called Bellagio Hotel and Casino. She has jet black hair and is usually wearing it in a low bun. She loves to wear her favorite dark black dress. Then we have the dad. His name is Clyde. He is lazy and funny but he still works hard for the family and of course to buy me food. He works as a pharmacy manager so you can tell they’re super rich! Which is a very good thing for me because more food and treats. Then there are the kids who are in such pains! The most annoying one is called Abby and is 6 years old. I remember that because the parents made such a big deal about her birthday party and there was like 50 people trying to pet me! She’s such a brat. Anyway, That’s all I have time for today. I have to go to sleep. I hope I see you again soon!
 

My mum decided to look on trade me and she saw a laptop. She messaged the owners who claimed they had the laptop for three months. So we assumed they had bought it three months ago. When we asked what the warranty was they said “two years”. Then we arranged to get the laptop. When we got there it turned out it was more than two years old and had previous owners.

 When I first got the laptop my mum told me to download this app that protects your computer from viruses. So I ran the app and it was scanning my laptop but it was taking longer than usual especially for a new laptop. But then it told me the laptop had a virus. The app deleted it and we thought everything was fine but it wasn’t.

The laptop had some connection problems and wouldn't connect to anyone else's internet apart from ours. Then after a little while it developed a white line down the side that wouldn’t go away. Then it started glitching a lot. Until it just stopped working. Always make sure you double check before you purchase something online.
