Part 2 of science fiction writing
I fell through the forest trees and into a wall. I smashed my head against the wall and blacked out. When I woke up I was in a room.
‘Great, I’ve woken up to another random place’
I thought to myself. I sat up and my head was pounding my vision was blurry and I could hardly see anything. I stood up feeling dizzy and fell to the floor. I woke up again and my head was still pounding. I took a look round the strange room to see someone sitting in the chair next to me.
“Great you're finally awake!”
The girl sitting next to me had long wavy brown hair with streaks of blonde. Her eyes were blue and had specks of green in them. She was human like me.
“Where am I?”
“You hit your head and have a severe concussion I found you so I brought you back to my place”
“No, like where am I?”
“No one really knows where we are” The mysterious girl said.
“What?”
“Well, everyone sort of just woke up here at some point and we came together to form a community”.
“Oh my God! What about our family and friends? they’re here right?”
“Well um I never really got to see them again.”
“Oh my God!”
I woke up. I think I must’ve passed out. I was still in the same room but the girl was gone. This was too much to take in. Where was I, I sat up and took a look round. The wallpaper was white with a pattern of swirls and lines. It was very minimalistic and there wasn’t much furniture mostly just a bed set of drawers and a side table. Oh and of course the chair the girl was sitting in. I got up and started walking around. I found the front door and walked out. “She’s crazy,” I thought to myself. As I walked out the door I could hear my mother's voice. I kept walking until I woke up. I was in a hospital bed and there was a nurse leaning over me and my mother sitting next to me. “Where am I?” I said,
“You’ve been in a coma for a year.”
The nurse said to me.
