Part 2 of science fiction writing

I fell through the forest trees and into a wall. I smashed my head against the wall and blacked out. When I woke up I was in a room.

‘Great, I’ve woken up to another random place’

I thought to myself. I sat up and my head was pounding my vision was blurry and I could hardly see anything. I stood up feeling dizzy and fell to the floor. I woke up again and my head was still pounding. I took a look round the strange room to see someone sitting in the chair next to me.

“Great you're finally awake!”

The girl sitting next to me had long wavy brown hair with streaks of blonde. Her eyes were blue and had specks of green in them. She was human like me.

“Where am I?”

“You hit your head and have a severe concussion I found you so I brought you back to my place”

“No, like where am I?”

“No one really knows where we are” The mysterious girl said.

“What?”

“Well, everyone sort of just woke up here at some point and we came together to form a community”.

“Oh my God! What about our family and friends? they’re here right?”

“Well um I never really got to see them again.”

“Oh my God!”

I woke up. I think I must’ve passed out. I was still in the same room but the girl was gone. This was too much to take in. Where was I, I sat up and took a look round. The wallpaper was white with a pattern of swirls and lines. It was very minimalistic and there wasn’t much furniture mostly just a bed set of drawers and a side table. Oh and of course the chair the girl was sitting in. I got up and started walking around. I found the front door and walked out. “She’s crazy,” I thought to myself. As I walked out the door I could hear my mother's voice. I kept walking until I woke up. I was in a hospital bed and there was a nurse leaning over me and my mother sitting next to me. “Where am I?” I said,

“You’ve been in a coma for a year.”

The nurse said to me.

𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠

I woke up in an unknown place. It was daytime. When I opened my eyes my head was facing up to the sky. The sky was red so I expected the sun to be setting but it wasn’t. I looked round to see purple specks of grass. I had no idea where I was. I picked myself up and had a look round. It was boiling hot. That’s when I realised I could smell smoke. Fire was swallowing the trees right before me. I started running for my life through the forest of orange tree trunks. The fire was getting closer until I tripped over something and fell out of the forest. Right before me was the most amazing city.

ℍ𝕖𝕒𝕝𝕥𝕙𝕪 𝕊𝕥𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕞𝕤

As a class ATN is writing information reports about our streams and rivers. An information report is a report that states information about a certain topic. As I've done below.

Healthy Streams
Rivers are the lifeblood of our land. We use the water to drink, provide for our plants, wild animals rely on it, farmers use the water, our native forests need it to survive and we use it for our enjoyment. So why aren’t we taking care of our local rivers? 80% of our rivers are poor quality. They’re polluted by things like top soil, our local dairy farms and more. Our class is going to test the health of a local stream and if we all help we can save our rivers.
